Our
next meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 12 at IUSD’s Learning Center from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (3387 Barranca
Parkway, Irvine, CA 92606). All IUSD parents are
welcome to attend these community meetings. These meetings are intended for
adult attendance only. Childcare will not be available.
The first hour of our meeting (9:00-10:00) will be
dedicated to discussing Part II of The Gift of Failure Book. Please come
prepared with any points of discussion or questions you would like to pose to
the group. The second half hour (10:00-10:30) of our meeting will provide an
open forum for you to meet this year’s CAC-GATE Board. We will engage in a
casual conversation about your experiences as parents of GATE students and
consider any ideas you have for how the CAC-GATE Board may further support our
program and students.
