Check out CTY’s podcast about parenting and teaching bright kids

Get your earbuds ready—CTY’s Bright Now podcast is available on iTunes and other podcast services. Hosted by CTY’s Jonathan Plucker, Bright Now explores hot topics in parenting and educating bright kids. Plucker, CTY’s Julian C. Stanley Professor of Talent Development, spends each episode exploring an aspect of giftedness with a fellow expert in gifted education. Topics include screen time, underachievement, twice-exceptional learners, and high schools designed to challenge advanced students. “We’re excited about all the positive feedback for the series, and we continue to receive great suggestions for upcoming episodes,” Plucker said. New episodes, available this spring, will explore creativity, social and emotional issues faced by gifted students, and the college search process.
