CAC-GATE Parent Meeting May 1, 2019 9:00 a.m.

Hello GATE Parent Representatives.

Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 1 at IUSD’s Learning Center from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (3387 Barranca Parkway, Irvine, CA 92606) in room 5. All parents are invited to attend. These meetings are intended for adult attendance only. Childcare will not be available.

This meeting’s structure will be a bit different. During the first half hour of our meeting (9:00-9:30) I will present on the topic of moving to middle school. From 9:30-10:30 our parent group will lead a self-directed book study on part III of The Gift of Failure. While I will provide guiding question for considerations, I am unable to participate in this portion of the meeting.  Given the lively discussions we have had in the past, I have no doubt that the last book club session will be as robust and beneficial for all participant as it has been in the past.
I look forward to seeing each of you at our last meeting of the year!
